but that still isn't an argument to trash it. Like I said, the money is spent, the program is running and from what I have read in the papers is held as a sucess by the folks who acctualy use it (the police) Part of the problem here is perception. The registry never had anything to do with stopping or preventing crime. It simply tracks where legal guns go (the only kind of tracking avalible to us). it isn't perfect but it is the best we can do.
