My Nephew moved to LA and joined the police force there, I don't know why. When he came home for his brother's wedding, I stopped by his father's while he was showing off his new gun. I watched him pull it out of the case, pull the slide and check the chamber before handing it to his father. He handled it correctly all text book safety, but I could help remembering that I used to babysit him all the time, and picturing him with a gun as he was then.

I almost snatched it from his hands.
