So kits are illegal, are partial kits? by toxin 2005-03-22 10:15:57
If Vendor A sells a kit that has components usable for conversion and Vendor B sells another kit that has other components, and an information package is out there on the internet... is that illegal?

Unscrupulous gun owners... so you admit that the guy in your story trying to by-pass the gun dealer fees was a criminal?

The rabid tone of many gun owners, just obtainable from scanning your AR15.com forum entries, indicates that there are a LOT of US gun owners who:
a) would do anything to be able to have automatic weapons
b) are more concerned with un-restricted access to guns than they are with the consequences of that access
c) state that they would violently resist ALL limitation, instead of accepting some limitations.

The vehemence with which the gun owners demand access to guns is so similar to the visceral need of addicts to drugs that I have to call it an addiction.

Could you go cold-turkey for 2 weeks (no guns, no ammo, no play shooting)? The difficulty you probably would have does suggest that it is an addiction.
