but the question is wether it is generally enforced. I doubt that a speedign bike is usually an issue all that often. If the officer had written me a speeding ticket I would have had to pay it. Just becasue I did not have a working speedometer did not excuse the infraction. I freely admit this fact. I do have my suspicions that the officer was purposefully being nice to me though. I used to be an EMT and I am pretty sure it was a courtesy to me that he did what he did.
