The artical is pretty clear what he is talking about. That sounds like one bad turn of phrase that is now being blown out of proportion. I will post this one more time... "Police would not say whether the Heckler & Koch was set up to fire in a fully automatic, or rapid-fire mode." Sounds like the weapon WAS a fully automatic H&K with a selector switch for at least one alternative fire mode (semi-auto) and safe.
