I mean, the ticket being invalid because the speedometer isn't required, indicates to me that while speed limits might apply to bikes, they're not actually enforceable.

Oh, yeah, I'm in Germany, and I'm sure that here, speedometers aren't required, and even if you have one, it doesn't matter, since you're not required to have it calibrated.

I did try to find out what the traffic laws say but wasn't really able to find out how to apply speed limits to bikes (other then going as fast as possible ;)
