long and short of it:
this is a historical theory. it is stuff that is reasonably possible to extrapolate from extant documents/knowledge. it is based upon the HISTORICAL jesus, not the biblical one, and as such does not contravene faith or religious teaching, in so much as the findings are historical science, not theological beleif.
priory of sion exists, seems to be a secret holder of some sort.
reasonable/probable:
that historical jesus was married to mary the magdelene.
jesus was a blood decendant of david, and inline to be king of israel
mary madgelene was of royal blood herself, making jesus's claim on the throne even more legit.
possible/oscams razor suggests:
jesus's crucifixion was faked
magdelene/jesus decendants spawned the marovingian bloodline in france
