But if CNN reports rightly (A judge will be chosen at random) in USA a plaintiff can CHOOSE his judge ?
At least here, one can file a complaint, but "the judicial system" will give your case to a judge of ITs choosing.
Neither the victim of a crime nor the accused can choose the judge (that would suggest they have something to win or lose with one judge that they would lose or win with another: which of them is accepting bribes?)

In fact, a judge can be put off a case while it is already running, if there's some doubt about his impartiality. (Has happened before, still happens, google for : Lizin AND judge AND divorce )

But USA is a different country, we know that.
