I was called "beaver" by friends in my uni years!	by whybird	2005-03-22 04:03:23
by people who I think were unaware of what that is/was north American & Canadian slang for. The reason I got the nick was to do with swimming across a river with a stick (I guess you had to be there to understand), and it was always said with affection. Sure beats the things I used to get called in primary school. They were definitely not said with affection. :-(
