When i finished my IT Apprenticeship I was pretty clueless of what to do. Lucky (in a way) the decision was taken from me and I had to do my 10 month of mandatory service to the state (opted for Social Service and actually ended up doing a tech related job at a hospital). So, you got your layoff. you could go about and look for another apprenticeship position with another company or head of to uni. depending where you are in the world there are a bunch of options realy. if all fails you can still flip burgers. ;) Best bet is just hop onto Monster and look for a job. Sift through your local and country wide newspapers and check out what is open.
