I tried checking availible irqs and i tried disabling additional hardware such as the IR port and the sound system (its a laptop) but its still having the same problem. i also tried updating the BIOS and setting the irq port steering options (which windows would change and reboot but then go back to the way they were before). also: how do I make a top level post (i just started posting)
