Move your right speaker so that it is on the other side of the left speaker and then place the left speaker in the spot formerly occupied by the right speaker.

If the new right speaker is not working your problem is geographical, if the problem is transfered to the left side it would apear to be a hardware fault.

P.S. check the connections with a set of headphones and see if you get one or two channels out.
