ahhh.. but the whole situation is unrealistic.

Urban area and a ghillie suit.. what in the hell makes you think anyone would walk down the street with one of those?? Have you ever worn one? Do you have ANY idea how hot they are??? That would be something you would don when you are close to your target area and then you would move, very slowly into position. just cause it is an urban area, doesn't mean it is all cement and glass you know.

As for the rifle.. they dissasemble you know. =P

as for the tripod, any kind would do. even just bracing against sand bags or the like would be nice. I am NOT talking about those wild contraptions with all the toys. Just a simple muzzle tripod.

There is a story about a US Seal commander who was bragging how good his unit was to a Commander of a British Gurka unit. They came to a agreement to test which was best. A seal would stand in the middle of an empty field and see if he could spot the Gurka. Morning comes and the seal has seen nothing. He comes back into the bar where the commanders are waiting and claims to have seen nothing and that noone came. The Gurka, curious points at the seals boots and says "So what happend to your laces then?" The laces of his boots had been retied up in the fashion of the Gurkas.

But I really want to know how you are going to find my position with a ball point pen??
