Truly. This really IS the old sons of Isaac/Abraham fight.

If the Jews had done what God commanded them when they came into Israel, then all of this would never have happened. It's harsh, but God told the Jews to kill all the citizens of Israel. I'm not claiming that's right or wrong, but it's what God told them to do.

They didn't.

Now the sons of Isaac are still there to cause problems.

The Israelis truly see this land as something that God gave them in perpetuity. The Palestinians see this land as something that was stolen from them; first by God, then by the Jews, then (much later) by the UN and now by the US and Israel (the Jews) again. There is no way this will end until one side or the other is completely destroyed. The hate is too strong.
