okay.. lets list the assumtions.

1) that I am set up in a properly screened and sound protected area with a gulie suit on.
2) that I am using a good flash supressor
3) that I am prone with my rifle supported eather by a tripod or braced agaisnt sand bags or such.
4) that I am using a scope of sufficiatly high mag that a shot from 300m isn't unrealistic.
5) that I am fireing from an elevated position.
6) that I am using sound cover when placing my shots.
7) that I am not expecting to live throught the assignment

These would be standard for any sniping assignment. (snipers don't live long once they start fireing) So yes, no problem I could take out 5 or 10 guys before you could locate my position.

If you are just talking about going up and starting to shoot.. well that is just luck of the draw isn't it. When you use full auto or soemthign stupid like that, anything you DO hit will be just pure dumb luck.
