but why is the default to be scarred all the time? Why would you want to live someplace where everyone around you is scared. A man who is frightened is unpredictable. You should know that. He is libal to do anything at any moment if it seems to help him. A man who is afraid can't reason, he can't see beyond the immedate situation. A man who lives in fear and is consumed by it puts everyone around him in danger. Fear can be a tool, it hightens you senses, it lets you see and feel and be in the situation more if you know how to use it. But all in all, I would much rather be someplace where I don't have to worry about what the next man, driven mad by fear will do.
