Yes, I have and they ended up very badly and I got a few more scars.

One rule when you are carrying a gun (or as far as I'm concerned any time) is to maintain situational awareness at all times. If you walk around with your head up your bum someone will hand it to you. A gun is not your only means of defense, just another tool that can be utilized.

I would think someone with advanced weapons training would already know that.
