Have YOU ever been attacked by a man with a knife? Let me tell you RIGHT now, that a more effective way to combat someone in that situation would be to side step, let him overextend and then put him in an arm lock. If you are incapible of doing that, then you are done no mater if you have a gun at your side or not (In addition you just provided the knife weilder with a gun!!)
The reasons for this is simple, unless you are going into a situation prepared and with your weapon drawn and ready, you will NOT have time to draw aim and fire before your knife weilding maniac is upon you.
Never mind that in 30 years I have never been attacked by someone with a knife, nor KNOW anyone who has been attacked with a knife. Scare tactics just don't work on me cause I have recived advanced weapons training already.
Walking around with a gun, is a good way to get shot. By the time you realize that you need to draw your weapon, it is already far to late. |
