Dude, it doesn't mater. Before they even get a shot off I could kill 5 or ten people. An M-16 can empty it's clip in LESS than a second. That is 30 rounds (if loaded to max), faster than you can draw a weapon or even THINK about drawing a weapon. And BTW, I already know that my accruacy doesn't go down when being shot at, but I do know how bad of shots the US military generally is (They had us walk out on TOP of the bunkers because a US DIVISION couldn't take out our puny little 3 platoons in trenches.. we were using LARS gear and the morons wouldn't get out of their bradley's, so we kept "blowing" them up with our Carl G, IE pen flare)
While the skills are out there to make weapons by hand, that doesn't equal mass producing them and then shipping them all over the world so that some fat American can drive a Hummer.
A handmade weapon is going to be FAR rarer and FAR less accruate than one made with all the advances of modern machining, technology and mass production. In the end, the logic that flooding the world with guns just becasue some guy can make one, is like saying that we should give everyone bombs, because the people in Iraq can make IEDs. Sorry, it just doesn't fit. |
