who run undead characters. I'm aware that getting splatted by someone isn't completely curtains for a live character - it's pretty much always possible for someone to get you back on your feet (although obviously this is less easy should someone have 'sploded you than a mere stab wound or drowning), but... what happens if you're undead and someone heals you? See, most of my excursions into fantastic realms take place in Myth, and in that universe, if you should be so cunning as to make your handy Jman or Heron (depending on where you are in the game) heal anything undead (including, in TFL, the number-two baddie Soulblighter), a certain amount of splattage occurs; the undead get taken out of action by healing.
After all, if someone's not alive in the first place, resurrecting them is going to cause problems, surely? |
