People criticize Job or criticize the Bible because of Job or criticize God because of Job. But . . . if you read it and understand it, this is one of the reasons it was written and one of the reasons it was included in the Bible . . . to point out to people that such things are not necessarily a matter of "Maybe God's trying to tell you something." Just remember that Jesus was rejected as well, by the very people He came to save. He was ridiculed as He was dying on the cross by the very people for whom He was dying. You are special, but not because you're gay. You're special because you're suffering, and God has compassion for those who suffer and will rebuke those who intentionally cause suffering.
