Geek Question #2 (Linux-SUSE ) by hieraco2005-03-16 01:39:35
Short answers. by murphy 2005-03-16 01:52:10
  1. No. You shouldn't even want to. But SuSE supports repartitioning (of NTFS drives, too) reasonably reliably.
  2. Boot loader corruption: Not that I've heard of. Partitioning issues: Marginal, but still possible (esp. on weirdly partitioned HDs).
  3. Installation: Quite good, the 9.2 doesn't have much issues AFAIK. Though some people don't like it 'cause it's too Windows-like (saying that SuSE tries to take the user at the hand; still there's much more flexibility in a SuSE system than in any Windoz).
However, backups GOOD!
