I'd imagine that if you turn in your notice on good terms, and they fire you after that without some sort of severance pay, that such an act would offer you some recourse. Because, if they were going to let you go for having bad gas or creating a hostile work environment, why did they let you work there for this long? Or on such a big project? IANAL
