I don't know about the laws in your area (Vegas?) but here in Saskatchewan, they can either accept your notice and you work for them for two weeks or they can fire you on the spot and you get paid anyway for between one and three weeks, depending on how long you've been working there.

Check into your labour standards board (or whatever it's called there ... might want to start by dropping the "u" ... hmm, taking "u" out of labour ... that's funny) to see what rights you have. If they "walk" you - get it in writing that they fired you. If they haven't fired you, then you're still working there and they shouldn't kick you off the property.

Either way, they should be paying for your vacation (yay!)
