            VoIP support by pseudonym 2005-03-15 17:50:47
It comes with VoIP support, so you can hook this up to a Astricks PBX server, or directly to a VoIP provider with a SIP network (IE Vonage ) and you can make voice or video phone calls over the SIP network. You can call POTS from SIP networks NP, which is what makes it so cool. Free LD anywhere in NA and VERY cheap LD overseas.. One bulk reseller quoted us at $0.007/min, but that is for ALL calls with a surcharge for overseas.

Glossary

SIP = Session Initiated Protocol
VoIP = Voice over IP
POTS = Plain old telephone system
PBX = phone box exchange
