Scirocco suggested I remerge with the opengl useflag; I don't see how that would help, as it runs fine (other than the framerate of 1) in software (Mesa indirect GLX) mode. Also, yes, as I said clearly in the title and some of my message, I am running the latest ATi drivers for Radeon 9800 SE on Gentoo amd64. Does anyone else have any suggestions? I'll try recompiling with the useflag when I get home, but I doubt it'll help.
