I'm trying to work on a computer for a cow-orker (ewwwww). She tried to install XP, but failed. Now it has no OS. I have a few '98 boot disks laying around. They won't work (invalid system disk) So I created an XP start-up disk. I copied the format proggie from my XP machine.....failed. Wouldn't you know it, it won't let me format the daggon harddrive. "Incorrect MS Dos version" It says the same thing for fdisk. Any ideas on how I can wipe this puppy clean?
