the @media allows you to specify different style sheets depending on the presentation media. Wiether it be printed, a handheld browser, or TV. (plus others).

So, where it's cutting in the middle of the paragraph, is it because it's hit the bottom of the page?

you could try using the CSS page-break-before:always; I don't know what the borwser support is like for this, but something tells me it's MS proprietary.
