Tomorrow, I'll check the cables, and if those are good, I'll check with the database guys to see what they did. And if they play innocent (as I'm betting they will), I'll tell them that they won't get the backups they've been bugging me about until I can install the software. And I can't install the software until it can see the CD, so call me when you want to come clean. Then I'll let them sweat while I'm calling redhat.
