HE DOES. DO NOT try to cash the check. You know it's rubber. I'd wait 'til tomorrow, go see him, and explain that either (A) he gives you $95 in cash (the amount of the check), and you return the check to him, or (B) you take the check to the local PD/Sheriff's department and he can pay you $95 in cash AND deal with the IWC (Issuing Worthless Checks) charge. Be firm and calm. Sound like you already talked to the cops. Don't let him convince you your problem lies with his bank.
