The harder you make it look the more they'll want to get in. Which is why I'm looking at low key solutions. My one CCTV camera can't be seen unless you think to look up when you're at the door. Even then you just see the dome. I'm thinking about a camera concealed in the post for my mailbox. That will show me the whole front of the house. I just have to figure out what to do for the back. Might be putting up a few "bird houses." FWIW my house looks no more hardened than the rest of the ones in my neighborhood. In some cases even less so.
