Who knows cruises? by Nashville2006-11-19 12:55:59
A lot of variables here... by LthrOttr 2006-11-19 12:55:59
How long of a cruise do you want to take? Also, how "high style" do you want to be? And, lastly, where do you want to depart from?

THere is a 7-day from Long Beach on Carnival doing to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. Some good shopping there, and some good water stuff. I've done that cruise, and thoroughly enjoyed it. From San Diego I believe there is also a cruise that includes Acapulco.

The Bahamas are nice. Have done a cruise out to them that left from Port Canaveral. Lots of water stuff, and that wouldn't be a bad season of the year for that.

I would suggest a seven day cruise. And, while some folks don't like them, I do like Carnaval as a cruise line. Have done numerous trips on them with hubby, and we've had a great time.

If you want to toss some specific questions, e-mail me. My nick here at the gmail beast. I've helped various folks out on looking are cruise info. A good resource is Cruise Critic for checking reviews and things you need to know.
