At least I didn't step in it, and at least (since she was on the dining room table at the time) none of it got on anything irreplaceable/non-cleanable and she managed to get most of it on the plastic tablecloth and the wooden (as opposed to the upholstered) chairs. But there was no hairball in it. :-/
