The point I tried to make, and probably missed by adding my side-remark, is that calling England "abroad" may very well be right in YOUR point of view. But there's no way the english will agree with you. They know their EMPIRE is gone, and they know they are losing their "grip" on their commonwealth (for what's left of the "wealth" part) but they are not "abroad" themselves! That's everybody else, but not THEM ! But as I said: from your point of view, they probably are.
