Not to mention all the other underhanded and just-plain-stupid tricks I've seen people pull with cookies; IE tends to be worse by an order of magnitude about shenanigans like that, because of ActiveX. The only thing that I use IE for anymore is the Windows Update site, for the simple reason that they've tied the WU service up so tightly with ActiveX nothing else will work.
