like take him out to eat or something. Something that coinsides with your character and the way you would let someone know that you're saying thanks. Or just keep buying stuff from him. Maybe he gets it even cheaper, and wants to secure a customer base, ya never know. Or maybe it's his way of giving back to the community. He's nice to you, you can be nice back, or be nice to someone else as to continue the goodwill chain :)
