I hadn't thought of that. :)
However, I *think* - this is just my experience, though, so there are probably exceptions - that most people who are "socially Christian", that is to say "raised in a Christian environment but don't believe in and follow the teachings of Christ" as you put it, usually don't label themselves as Christian.
In fact, most of the people I've met in that category go out of their way to point out they are NOT, partly to avoid the misconceptions we've been talking about, I suspect.
