Ethics question by imwacc0 2005-03-10 15:23:27
I do a lot of shopping at a used computer store. The owner is a grate guy, I have seen him give away a full system to a charitable organization before (Lady came in with tax papers, and you could just see that she was all set to fight it out to get it with out tax), turn down money because the person had brought that computer in 2 times in the same year for adware/virus, lets people take parts home to see if it will work in there system "you can come back and pay me if it works, if not just bring the part back".

The question that I have is about the prices that he gives me. Like the Adeptek AHA-2940UW PCI SCSI Controller, cable, and three 9GB IBM drives for $20. Or the DeskJet 350 and ink cartridge holder for $5. Given me lots of cables, covers, fans, SCSI CD-ROM burner, and just a whole lot of other small things.

At what point do I say "Hey, I think you are selling this too low" or do I just accept that I'm getting a good price, smile and say Thank You?
