The Dutch ads usually try to get a positive message across: about the drinking and driving, we're having a series about the BOB (Bewust Onbeschonken Bestuurder): the Designated Sober Driver. They're usually kind of funny; but by introducing the phrase, they do make people more inclined to designate a sober driver.
I think mixing this with some graphic ads would be good, though.
We don't get very much speeding or drinking & driving, because there are almost no long stretches of empty road, and people tend to go to the pub by bike. |
