societies. Example (for anyone who take offence well its an example get over it) Your an Italian mob boss your capo is insolent to you not treating you with the respect you deserve. You can peacefully ignore him which will only breed dissent amongst your ranks and potential threaten your buisness and your life. Or you can shoot him in the head and burry him in the swamps of jersey which will earn the respect/fear from your underlings. If you manage things correctly and take care of the mans family whom you had to whack they will fear what you will do to them if they get out of line however they will respect you for takeing care of the family who had nothing to do with the faults of the father.
