You should ads on Australian TV. The current crop of anti-smoking ads include someone squeezing out the tar from a real pair of lungs that once belonged to a smoker and graphic simulations of lungs dying under the smoke. In previous years, we've had ads depicting a cigarette physically hooking a young smoker (imagine a fish-hook sticking out from the filter...). We also get graphic ads against drinking, speeding and driver-fatigue. Many of them re-enact the real consequences. I remember a prominent US personality visiting Australia some years ago and commenting about these ads and how you'd never see them on US television...
