2.2 km = 1mile 3.78liters = 1 gallon roughtly 10 miles per liter roughly four liters per gallon meaning your 5000 pound Volvo getting 40 miles per gallon? doubtfull 25-30 maybe. our fuel ecconmy actualy goes down on american cars because we have to use the dozen or so extra componets that reduce smog. They reduce emmissions but cause lots more fuel inneficiency because of the reduced power.
