leave the limits the way they were, and write more tickets anyway? </rant> The best euphemism I once heard for a traffic ticket was "a stupidity tax." Not to mention the revenue the state/county/city generates. They're also a "gift that keeps on giving," since insurance rates increase the more violations people have.
