Update to DesertRat's FFL post from Tuesday by techi8702006-11-19 12:55:59
Having taken a quick view of the site... by toxin2005-03-10 12:13:57
At this time no gun laws have been circumvented by DesertRat66 2005-03-10 12:26:30
the individual claiming to represent the FFL ordered a firearm to be delivered to the FFL. Not the wisest thing to do and what he is actually trying to accomplish is to pay wholesale for his new gun.

This particular FFL is wise to the scam and has decided to play the guy like a fish on a hook with the intention of either
a) selling the guy the gun at full retail price with proper paperwork and background checks accomplished
b) returning gun to distributor and having the distributor and the individual work out how much money he (the individual) gets back.

Now what would be illegal is if the individual had called representing the dealer and somehow managed to get the distributor to ship the firearm to HIS home address. At which time both the individual and the distributor would be in deep doo-doo with BATF.
