since 50 in the left lane on a 70mph interstate is the norm.

imho, make the limit 55 and offer 65/70 to drivers who go through driver training and biannual retesting. keeps the idiots goign slower, and lets those of use who can drive w/o a cel phone or watching a movie get there w/o getting run over.

of course i'm biased having had closed course driving training, and actually understanding the utility of turn signals. (powersliding an automatic isn't as much fun unless you signal before you park the car :) )
