No, but mailing back the outer envelope by BloodyViking2005-03-10 10:45:36

to your name & address, how do they know it was you and how do they know to stop sending stuff to you?

What I've taken to doing recently is (for unsolicited credit card offers, especially now that I've had myself removed from the credit bureaus' distribution lists) taking the 'application' form (with my name and address pre-printed on it), taking a big ol' sharpie, and writing across it (not filling it in) that I want to be removed from their list, and that I'm already satisfied with the cards I have. And if it's a company that I already have a card from, I threaten to cancel my other account with them if they don't immediately cease mailing me offers.

Then I send that back in their postage-paid envelope.

So far, it's worked pretty well.
