I need some advice here. by McNutcase2005-03-10 10:14:48
OMG I'm having problems like that by Fayth 2005-03-10 10:51:36
A week after we got a phone line connected, I kept getting calls like this:

operator: Hi, can I speak to Mr.H(full last name here)?

me: He is not here, may I take a message?

operator: Oh...well may I speak to Mrs.H(bf's last name)?

me: *fuming* There IS NO MRS.H!

operator: I'm sorry.......*click*

So this carries on for another week, the same woman calling! So, one night my bf answers the ringing phone that I am now loathing, and proceeds to speak *not so nice* to her. She hangs up on him. He calls back, and after about 15 seconds the same woman answers back and says "hi may I speak to Mr.H?" My bf responds "I called YOU btw!" and hung up on her. Someone calls back, and my bf goes off about how the operator never told me where they were calling from, and presented the fact that I was offended because the operator kept asking for a Mrs.H, which there was NONE. The person ends up hanging up. We never found out what company was calling us. I think they are nuts...I hate them because they NEVER tell you where they are calling from.

Good Luck...hit 'em where it hurts.
