I need some advice here. by McNutcase 2005-03-10 10:14:48
I've recently begun getting dead-tree spam. What happens is I ring up the sender and request that I be removed from their database forthwith, along with informing them that such sales tactics are counter-productive, and I shall NOT be buying from them in future. However...

Today, one arrived addressed to Mr and Mrs S [my surname]. There IS no Mrs [my surname]. I am unmarried. Right now, my plan is to call the culprits, request the usual "never send me anything ever again", and also insist on a written apology. Anyone got anything to add to that?
If this gets into legal issues, I'm in the UK.
