ODE TO AN OOSIK by DesertRat662005-03-10 09:11:46

Which part of link is lies? by hieraco 2005-03-10 09:54:13
I agree that it is unacceptable to dump one cultures beliefs on another. Each culture develops morals and rules that best suit it's survival.

Point 2, Most baby animals are considered `cute' because it is a natural survival trait. If a predetor (man) is unwilling to kill some young then it stands a chance of survival to adulthood where it can become a hunter or at least aquire the skills needed to survive. Even a rat which many consider discusting, is cute as an infant.

Point 3, if killing and eating baby animals is the only way for a culture to survive then I say have at them. My aligence is to mankind (a some what biased view). The culture will either kill off it's food source and die out, or it will temper its self so enough survive to breed and maintain the food source.

Point 4, Killing animals unnecessarly (ie for trophy or latest fashion) is not acceptable. rulle of thumb, Use it or loose it; don't abuse it.
