staged to drive home the point? Could that have been a blank that was fired? And a fake limp? Knowing how a lot of adults think that kids are stupid and won't listen without some drama, I wouldn't overlook that possibility.

Is there anything in the video or in a related report or story that would dismiss such a suggestion?
